Been using pro grip 790 gel grips for ages. They seem ok to me.

I had a bad problem with my thor gloves. Use to peel a layer of skin off every time I rode an enduro .. sometimes down to my wrist!

I changed to the Fox Pawtectors and, touch wood, haven't had a problem since.

The new pro-taper grips are awesome, and the best gloves i've used are troy lee gp gloves :)
